Perspective
Example of neoclassical in Rio de Janeiro, eighth building to be registered in Brazil, the Itamaraty Palace was commissioned in mid-nineteenth century by Francisco José da Rocha, Conde de Itamaraty, and finalized in 1854. In 1889, the house was sold to the Republican government and occupied by the Presidency until 1897, when it was ceded to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Exemplo do neoclássico no Rio de Janeiro, oitavo prédio a ser tombado no Brasil, o Palácio Itamaraty foi encomendado em meados do século XIX por Francisco José da Rocha, Conde de Itamaraty, e finalizado em 1854. Em 1889, a casa foi vendida ao governo republicano e ocupada pela Presidência até 1897, quando foi cedida ao Ministério das Relações Exteriores.

Who, where or when?
What?
We walk by the streets of our city and very often we don’t realize its images, which are there and which suddenly are not any more.
To photograph and glance is to guard images, impressions. It is also to re-discover the space where we live, our imaginary and scenario of our lives.
Our glance is not enough. It is necessary that others look what we see.
Andamos pelas ruas de nossa cidade e muitas vezes não percebemos suas imagens, que estão ali e que de repente não estão mais.
Fotografar e olhar é guardar imagens, impressões. É também redescobrir o espaço em que vivemos, nosso imaginário e cenário de nossas vidas.
Nosso olhar não basta. É preciso que outros olhem o que vemos.
