The most carioca of the Germans

The neighborhood of Lapa, which posted an old house yesterday, is part of the cultural corridor of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Gradually, the old houses are being reclaimed and turned into bars, restaurants and cultural institutions as the Museum of Image and Sound, for example, and even bookstores and used book stores.

This is the Bar do Ernesto, founded in 1936 by a German couple who had fled the Nazi regime. Indeed, this 19th century house was restored and renovated by the grandson of the couple in 1993. O bairro da Lapa, do qual postamos uma casa antiga ontem, faz parte do corredor cultural da cidade do Rio de Janeiro. Aos poucos, o casario antigo está sendo recuperado e transformado em bares, restaurantes e instituições culturais, como o Museu da Imagem e do Som, por exemplo, e até mesmo livrarias e sebos.

Este é o Bar do Ernesto, fundado, em 1936, por um casal de alemães fugidos do regime nazista. Na verdade, esta casa do século 19 foi recuperada e reformada pelo neto do casal em 1993.
