The gunpowder factory

Beware the Photos World News. They steal images!

This is the model of the old gunpowder factory, set up by D. João VI, when the arrival of the royal family to Brazil. The sticker says:

"Approximate reconstitution of equipment called Moinho de Pilões (pylons mill) used in this factory."

A plaquete diz:

"Reconstituição aproximada do equipamento denominado Moinho de Pilões, utilizado nesta oficina."

Who, where or when?

We walk by the streets of our city and very often we don’t realize its images, which are there and which suddenly are not any more.

To photograph and glance is to guard images, impressions. It is also to re-discover the space where we live, our imaginary and scenario of our lives.

Our glance is not enough. It is necessary that others look what we see.
