Saint-Rita's Church

Three weeks ago, we posted the door and the front of the Saint-Ritas's Church. Today, we show the inside of this small baroque jewel.

Built in 1720 in baroque Jesuitical style, have five altars sculpted in the 18th century, and it still have, in the sacristy, the original image brought of Portugal at the begin of his construction.

  1. Very fine work. I love the detail and composition of your photos. Stunning architecture.

  2. It's HEAVENLY! What gorgeous photos - that church is like a jewelry box! I wish I could go to a church service or organ concert there! Hello from EAGAN daily photo

  3. It is really beautiful! So many great details!

  4. It's a beautiful church. Chile does not have many churches in that style since it wasn't too economically powerful during Colonial times.

  5. You're right, it's a real jewel! So ornate and fabulous!

Thanks for your comment!

We walk by the streets of our city and very often we don’t realize its images, which are there and which suddenly are not any more.

To photograph and glance is to guard images, impressions. It is also to re-discover the space where we live, our imaginary and scenario of our lives.

Our glance is not enough. It is necessary that others look what we see.
